Mealime Shutdown FAQ
Why is Mealime shutting down?
Mealime was acquired by Albertsons Companies in 2021, and its recipes and meal-planning tools have also been available through Albertsons Companies grocery apps since that time. To provide a more streamlined experience and continue enhancing these features, we're transitioning customers to Meals Hub as our primary recipe and meal-planning platform on our Albertsons Cos. store apps.
Will my favorite recipes still be available?
Yes. All Mealime recipes will continue to be available on Meals Hub, along with thousands of additional recipes and meal-planning ideas.
Is Meals Hub managed by a different team?
No. Meals Hub is supported by the same core team responsible for developing Mealime recipes and experiences.
What happens to my dietary preferences?
Dietary preferences can be selected and managed within your Meals Hub profile after signing in to an Albertsons Cos. store app.
I'm a Pro User. When will my last payment be charged?
Effective immediately, Pro subscribers will not be charged any additional subscription fees before Mealime is discontinued on October 21, 2026.
What if there isn't an Albertsons Companies store near me?
Meals Hub can still work for you. You can still browse recipes, create meal plans, and generate shopping lists from Meals Hub, even if you're unable to shop at an Albertsons Cos. store.
Can I transfer my Mealime account information to MealsHub?
You can create or sign in to your Albertsons Cos. store app to access Meals Hub features. Certain preferences and settings will need to be established directly within Meals Hub.
What will happen to my Personal Data?
We're committed to safeguarding your personal data. All personal data will be deleted when the Mealime application is shut down. Until then, you may exercise your privacy rights in accordance with applicable law, including the right to delete your personal data as described in "The rights of Users" section of our Privacy Policy.
Is there a web version of MealsHub?
Yes, Meals Hub is available through Albertsons Cos. store websites and apps. Click here, select your local store, and you will be redirected to the appropriate Meals Hub website experience.
